GET TO KNOW ME

Hi, and welcome to my website.

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about me! 

I originally grew up in Bristol and have lived in London for the last nine years. (Although the West Country accent sometimes appears!) My background is in working with children and young people as a social worker and I quickly learnt the power and importance of a therapeutic approach. I strive to listen thoughtfully, remain curious and open and to advocate against abuse or injustice.

I am qualified with an MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy from the Institute of Family Therapy and also hold an MSc in Systemic Social Work, a PG Diploma in Social Work and a BA (hons) in Japanese and Politics. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, music and more recently attempting to garden.

I have worked with couples, children and families since 2014 in a variety of statutory and mental health settings. I am interested in how our relationships with the people around us shape our lives and I am passionate about working alongside people to support them to live their fullest lives and thrive. I am a registered and fully insured Systemic Family Therapist in South East London.
